Thunderstorms have cleared out. May 16th Regatta WILL BE SAILED as described below! (updated
7:30 AM May 16th)
Greetings Sailors,
The final race of the spring season is this Saturday, May 16th. The race will start at the 3 mile mark (atlantis island),
travel up to monkey island (small island at the 8 mile mark), with a finish line at atlantis island. Please be sure to check
in with the committee boat no later than 11:40 AM. There will be no dedicate power boat serving as committee boat, so it is
important that every vessel have a VHF radio on board to call in when they cross the finish line, or makes some sort of arrangements
to signal the committee boat when they cross. If there is lightning in the lake area at 9:00AM the race will be cancelled.
The club website will be update at 9:00 AM with a race status.
See you on the water!

Welcome to the e-harbor for the Ozark Sailing Club. The Ozark Sailing Club was founded to promote sailing at Lake of
the Ozarks. The Ozark Sailing Club (OSC) hosts sailing regattas, races, and social events from April thru November
every year. Please fell free to contact us or download our membership form and join us!
The Ozark Sailing Club hosts several sailing events at Lake Of The Ozarks throughout the year. Our sailing regattas are
seperated into a spring and fall series, with the option of sailing in either the "racing" or "cruising" fleet. All racing
is loosely based on US Sailing rules, with all sailors sailing under the honor system and self regulation. While the racing
events are well organized and competitive, they are really about just having fun and spending a day on the water with fellow
sailors.
